As you may already know, the 2023 sugaring season was not the most abundant! Despite a very early flow, the season then took a long time to start, but armed with patience, we continued to believe in it and we had continuous flows around mid-April, and this until May 3 .
🛢️20 barrels were produced compared to 27 last year.
Wela'lin 🪶 Mother Earth for allowing us to harvest 102,400 liters of Sismo'qonapu! We boiled this maple sap which produced 2,560 liters of maple syrup.🍁
We are also immensely grateful to our entire team who made this possible!
💪 They worked very hard and in the cold to pull up the lines that were buried in the snow. They also worked to install 2,000 additional notches. We also improved the cabin and repaired damage caused by winter, all to be ready for Sigewigus, the sugar season!🍁
